RaiseRight Fundraising
Easy Fundraising for Hockey!
Wish there was a way to offset the cost of your child's hockey fees without selling cookie dough, knocking on doors, or volunteering your time?
You’re in luck! The RaiseRight program is a no-selling fundraising tool that allows Cannons families to earn money toward player fees simply by purchasing the goods and services they already buy. It’s just a smarter way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards instead of cash, checks, or credit cards.

How Does RaiseRight Work?
There are three easy ways to earn rebates with the RaiseRight app or website:
- Method 1: Purchase eGift Cards
- Buy electronic gift cards at face value and receive a percentage back instantly. For example, if you are dining at Olive Garden and your bill is $80, open the app, buy an $80 eGift card, and pay your bill. With Olive Garden’s 8% rebate, $6.40 goes directly into your account toward your Cannons hockey fees. eGift cards live right in your app's digital wallet and can be used in-store, online, or emailed as gifts.
- Method 2: Shop Online Through the App
- Connect directly to your favorite brand websites via the RaiseRight app to earn listed rebates automatically on your online purchases.
- Method 3: Earn 5% Dining Locally
- Earn a 5% rebate at participating local restaurants simply by dining out and paying with your linked payment card.
Rebate Schedule / Account Policies
- Rebate Cycle
- Rebate cycle is from October 1 through September 30 and will apply directly to the current season.
- If fees are paid in full at rebate cycle time, earnings will be rolled over to the next season.
- Non-Refundable / Non-Transferrable
- All RaiseRight earnings must be applied to Columbus Cannon's team fees.
- RaiseRight credit has no cash value. They cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Earnings will not be transferred to other associations or programs.
- Credits will not be applied retroactively or to past bills.
- Should a player / players family not play for Columbus Cannons the following season, any unused credits will be contributed to the Cannon's general funds.
- All Sales Final
- Orders for eGift cards, physical cards, and reloadable cannot be returned or refunded.

Pro Tips & Tricks to Maximize Earnings
- Shift Your Mindset
- Look for everyday opportunities to use a gift card instead of your debit or credit card (groceries, morning coffee, home repairs).
- Stack Your Earnings
- Shop online by opening a cash-back app like Rakuten first, then pay using your RaiseRight eGift card to double-dip on rewards!
- Watch for Bonuses
- Keep an eye out for weekly alerts and quarterly "Raise Days", where retailers bump their rebates up significantly—sometimes up to 20%!
- Gas & Groceries
- Buy Giant Eagle or GetGo eGift cards (3.74% rebate) to pay for fuel and groceries while still racking up your fuel perks. You can also use Giant Eagle eGift cards in-store to buy physical gift cards for brands not offered on the app.
- App Integration
- Starbucks eGift cards can be loaded directly into your Starbucks app so you can earn your coffee stars and hockey rebates simultaneously.
- Rink Snacks & Fast Food
- Use eGift cards for quick rink-side meals at Panera, Chipotle, Subway, and Panda Express. For places without eGift cards (like Taco Bell or Sonic), buy a physical reloadable card via the app, ship it to your home, and reload it through the app whenever it gets low.
- Recruit the Crew
- Grandparents, aunts, and uncles can create accounts to help fundraise for your player! Just ensure they link your player’s name during setup.
